Ok. Ok. you guys! I am sufficiently humbled. I looked all over the outside of the camera for something that looked like an eject button, and didn't realize until I went back to the manual and carefully reviewed it that the nasty little sucker is inside the card slot. Thanks for your patience. As I indicated, I was used to just pulling the smart card out of the Olympus. I shoulda guessed Nikon would have a sexier solution. Thanks again.
