Did you see business week's survey of fund managers? Very bullish (13% gain SnP/27% Naz on average, I believe) for 2003 they are...

Everyone playing that "not 4 years in a row down" thingy...The sheeple are being led to...

I have been watching and waiting to see if SOX would make a falling wedge here. It is difficult to "Elliott count" that wedge in that place. In any case, why would you pull the trigger before it would run down to come close to the bottom line?

Not that I care very much, but it is hard to find components that are presenting a possible wedge here.

I think it just as likely that we had a very nice 'flat' out of the low on the 9th -- very cute a-b-c out of that. This would mean we are into a second leg down since the end of that flat on the 17th.

(As an aside, the INTC drain is quite something.)
