I don't know about Syria, i had hopes in a new young and educated Ruler, but it seems that he wants to honor his fathers steps. I agree that hezbolla has to be taken care of , they are to strong and still get a lot of money, Israel needs no more excuses to get rid of hizbolla but it is not an easy task.

IF the states attack Iraq, AND Turkey with the Curds take over Northern Iraq, taking in consideration the Turkish Israeli Military Pact, Taking in consideration the Turkish- Syrian raw relations, Taking in consideration that Lebanon is controlled by Syria and the Christian unhappiness, it sounds very plausible for ISRAEL to have another PEACE making operation in Lebanon and have a Syrian witdrawall. and we might get back the Lebanese status quo between Christians and Muslims
