More Isra'Eli Democracy In Action January 1, 2003 JERUSALEM"Isra'El's Election Committee disqualified a leading Isra'Eli Arab (as opposed to a Palestinian Jew?) lawmaker from running in January 28th elections, the second such move in two days, leading experts to warn of a widening rift between Jewish Palestinians and Arab Isra'Elis and a threat to Isra'Eli democracy. The commission, made up of the representative of political parties, voted 22-19 early today to disqualify Azmi Bishara and banned his Balad party by vote of 21-20 said a commission spokesman Giorda Pordes.
