I say the Isra'elis are not content to leave the borders as they are and want to continue to instigate the Palestinians (and other Arab countries) so they can expand their land holdings from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan river.

Hello Len... Heeellloooo!!! The Israelis LEGITIMATELY CONQUERED the Sinai... They even established a number of Kibbutz settlements there and undertook archeological digs... The territory of Sinai more than doubled the size of Israel and was vastly easier to defend.

They gave up Mt. Sinai, from which they believe was the place Moses descended with the 10 commandments (though other archaeologists suggest Mt. Sinai lies in N. Western Saudi Arabia)..

They even gave up the oil that exists on the Sinai peninsula.. They gave up Sharm El Sheikh, the gateway to Israel's southern port access to the Red Sea (which Nasser had repeatedly attempted to blockade)..

But they gave it all in the interest of peace with Egypt.

That HARDLY sounds like a conspiracy to expand their holdings...

And the Arabs have needed very little instigation for them to engage in their foolish acts of aggression. They all have used the existence of Israel to distract their populations from their own corruption and ineptitude.

And lest you forget, or conveniently ignore the obvious... NONE OF THOSE ARAB STATES IS LEGITIMATE. They ALL were created out the remnants of the Ottoman Empire...

Created in a manner that ignored the tribal and cultural identities of the various people's who resided in the region.. That's why you have Wahhabis and Saudis ruling over Shia Arabs (eastern Arabia), and Hashemites ruling over Palestinians in Jordan. It's why you have a small Alawite minority ruling over the majority Sunni population in Syria.

And it's why you have Arab muslims ruling over the Coptic Christians (who trace their lineage back to before Muhammed) in Egypt.... (15% of Egypt is Coptic).

So tell me where the conspiracy is?? Try and convince Coptic Christians, who are a repressed minority NATION within Egypt, that there wasn't a conspiracy to steal their legacy and give it to the Arabs.. They have their own language, Coptic.., They have their own religion. And they have their own history that predates the Arabs who currently rule over them.. And the suffer from coercive attempts to force their conversion to Islam.

Tell me that the 30% Maronite population of Lebanon doesn't feel that Syria is trying to subjugate them under the "greater Syria" agenda??

The Palestinians aren't special here Len.. They just receive more publicity because everyone expects Israel to be better behaved than it's ruthless Arab neighbors. The Arabs get a "pass" because they "don't know no better" or because "it's the way they are" while the Israelis get hammered for trying to defend themselves from being obliterated by Arabs bent upon a new genocide..

I certainly don't recall any Israeli leader ever advocating the complete genocide of any Arab people..

But one only has to look at the words of Arab leaders to current time, advocating the utter destruction of Israel and exterminating every Jew in Palestine..

And that's the kind of people you're willing to stick your neck out for?? People who advocate the extermination of an entire people??
