Sure. My "forecast" in #16760 was made by doing a rough trend-line analysis (in my mind's eye) on the gold price action over the past three weeks. It appeared to me that "support" has been broken and hence my suggestion that we would see a period of consolidation.

Hence my post #16757. One thing I have learned over the years as far as forecasting the gold price is concerned is that one can't!
