Heck that's what the Fed does anyway -- a dollar is just a measure of real money, of which your notes are not redeemable any more.

I kinda like the mental picture formed by thinking about helicopter drops in dense public areas, but then again, I may be a little twisted <vbg>

Isn't the Fed just legalized counterfeiting? -g-
