The economy stinks. Only major retailer to do well this Xmas was JC Penny who had to slash prices 50% early. No consumer demand. Supply side tax cuts therefore are the wrong way to do. And what about technology? Bush has done zilch to help that all-important sector. I don't disagree. But don't you remember "it was the economy, stupid!". That's what cost Bush Sr. the election. I was hoping for a rerun in 2004 of that event. That's why I don't complain about the economy. ted
