I can't tell if you are serious or facetious based on your last post to me about investors losing money! <gg> well, fwiw I think right now, today, I'd like to see SS put some of the reserves to work in the mkts. From these levels we can get some decent returns and get some money back into the system. And as you say, this would stabilize the current wobblyness in the mkts too. The problem is all this panic over equities will make it a difficult proposal now. And whenever you even mention the word SS the AARP and other clueless special interests get involved even though they will be long gone by the time the problems arise that need to be solved now.
