The boat is making water. But a run from the dollar into Swiss Francs or Euros or Yen, means running from one side of the same boat to another and only speed up the sinking of the boat.

Gold prices skyrocketing may prompt governments to flood the market with their reserves to pay for the no longer affordable government machines!!

Hey no one stops to think how much that helicopter that looks down on expressways cost right? Nor how much a cop costs. And how about this internal 'security' thing Bush concocted as a by-product of 911???

You know that citizens cannot afford the government machines they used to pay. The sight of civil 'servants' in the streets is the most terrible sight a government can see.

The million march of fat bureaucrats to Washington will be a Krakatoa size explosion. Governments seeing them -and you know they are the electoral corrals form which they derive power- will look to whatever they have to keep them fed.
