oh yes, i remember "i want to sell a kidney" well...and you can count me among those who considered it to be a hoax...a farce... it was only in retrospect, hearing the facts of his situation that i understood the desperation of his posts... and i certainly don't pity him...i pity his victims...those he killed because of his avarice and greed. i will never understand those who apparently place the value of money above all others....although in his case...i think it an issue of false pride more than "loss"..in other words living with the reality that you screwed up so royally. end of sermon. :)

He killed his first wife and used her insurance money to fund his second marriage, and joined the day trading crowd. After he lost his insurance money, he first killed his children (by his murdered first wife) and then his second wife. He then moved to the day trading floor in a Buckhead building. And the rest, is history!

hi Lazarus... I'm just catching up here sorry... (working a huge amt from home these days) but anyway I was always wondering... is there any proof that this Barton guy really was the kidney killer? I heard this bantered about on SI at the time of course but I never quite believed it... now in retropect it seems more likely since he is a no show... of course lots of people are these days... edwarda told me it was Barton and she was a credible source Lizzie
