> there's no inflation

who is buying these 350K dollar homes? where is the income to support those mortgages? people only able to afford those homes because interest rates keep dropping. When everybody starts gaming that game. then what happens? If we know that the only way to continue to get ahead is gaming the housing market. and interest rates been gamed to the max. then where do we go? When the pension funds stop blowing out 2.9 billion a year in the case of GE. where are we gonna' sell that many light bulbs and toaster ovens to support that? When sears can't giveyou any more free appliances payable in 2 years where are we going to get some more buyers? It's kind of like those pentium 366's running windows...do i really need to upgrade to run yahoo messenger. okay sorry about rambling. but you just get me off with your no inflation BS...Lol....one final hallucination...how does the FED print money (full throttle) and you tell me there is no inflation...okay...back to my chemistry lab...okay...my call on gold...is it's going up because of the threat of war...it just does that for no other reason than people just perceive it that way...if i was the commercials with those BIG (leveraged) short positions i would go declare war myself...buy a bomb and drop it somewhere.... -g-

<<The only thinng keeping this market down is geopolitical fears and fear of warning season.>> The Japanese market is under 9,000 -- down from 35,000 13 years ago. Stocks are down because people know that a bubble on the scale we had can wreck the stock market for a long time. The bubble was an economic tragedy. We have now had three down years in the market. The Japanese have had 13 years of a falling market. We have a valuation issue. And we have a trade surplus at 5% of GDP. And we have a war. When AMZN is trading at $2 it will be time to buy. Good luck.

I don't know what is going to happen in Jan 17 as the market can do anything but given that the market is
down 3 years in a row, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if we get a four-peat. As for not fighting the fed, I would argue that fighing the fed has been extremely profitable since 2001. I would say the better advice is
to not fight the trend and as long as the averages remain
below the 200 day moving average , the trend is down.
