Sure, there are crooks in any business, and that business doesn't have to be off shore, you know this as well as I do... but why is it always first assumed something illegal is going on when an account is off shore? I find this curious... sure, off shore accounts are great when you do business off shore, wouldn't you think so too? It's very convenient... I once did business in the Caymens and that's where the capital remained... of course, any monies brought into the U.S. were declared and the appropriate taxes paid, but this is a given for any honest businessman... why immediately presume the business is dirty? Capital used for any off shore business stays off shore for that business and for the people working that business...if I have a business in Spain, wouldn't it make sense to have my accounts in Spain? Or France? Lift up your eyes and expand your horizons, this is a global community, my business is done worldwide...
