boitechnology, IMO, can only be successful to the extent you can convince people there is something wrong with them. If it's really all about pain killing and avoidance then like aspirin. Why not just sell really good cheap refined HASH to the american public. I think John Ashcroft would agree with that. Lol. No seriously. I haven't had a really good hit of (high quality) hash since college. the kind that makes you not feel your legs and your vision goes stereo. -g- i mean really, all we're really talking about here (on physiological basis) is heightening the lower level brainstem centers by selectively filtering out the higher level brain centers. But i can see why government might be afraid of that. lmao...

Paul,
Nanotechnology and biotechnology are hugely overlapping in research and application. Nonotechnology, the building of machines at the atomic level, will result in devices that are used in biotechnology. Biotechnology will result in technologies used to build nano-machines.

There are several thousand nanotech patents in the world and grant money from the Feds to universities is growing.
