Paul, AMAT apparently thinks there are investment opportunities through their Applied Materials Ventures operation. According to their website and press release when they hired former Qtera CEO Fahri Diner they say this:
"At Applied Materials Ventures, Mr. Diner will focus on identifying and evaluating early stage investment opportunities in the communications and nanotechnology markets."

Paul, it's way too early for any company to make money on nano technology, so I'm not following it. But since I'm a Crichton fan I'll probably read the book. G. [end]
