Far be it for me to attempt to come to the rescue of someone whose thoughts I despise like AS, BUT, many of us have read things on the web, and believed them or took them at face value, perhaps even doing a little investigation and thinking that we've confirmed what we've read, only to find ourselves duped by some phoney internet journalism. It has happened more times than I wish to admit to me. Almost always these are items who contain an argument very similar to what I believe in.

If I was foolish enough to post it here, or email it to some friends I am always deeply embaressed for falling for such crap. Perhaps that happened to AS as well. Let's hope it never again happens to any of us here on the thread, no matter what our geopolitical viewpoints are!
