When we get this 'oversold' I expect some kind of technical bounce but there are some fairly fresh breakdowns (Softie as you mentioned), AMGN is falling out of the big wedge off the lows so that should hoop the BTK, and of course the breakdown of the COMP out of the downward sloping flag of the last 3 weeks. I just wish we had more volume.

I think if today isn't the bottom it should b in by friday and not much lower than here. The wedge that shack pointed out yesterday is in effect. Another variation could play out giving one more wave down but it shouldn't cary too far. Daily Line charts show wedges on all the indexes.

I've been buying march calls on smelly and r2k.

<< Good chance now that MSFT has fallen out of what I read as a valid coil (ended Dec 26) and will now head to the gap down at $49.33 >>

If that happens, do you think it will bounce from that level, or continue lower?

TIA,
Dave
