As part of the TTSL's Gujarat operations, in phase one the company would launch its services in over 20 cities in the state by mid-2003 which include fixed wireline, fixed wireless and CDMA- based mobile services, a company release said. TATA Indicom also offers two additional packages apart from standard package as per the directive of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India(TRAI). TATA Indicom's CDMA mobile service also offers one attractive package in the standard tariff plan. In the Talk Super Value(TSV) Plan, customers have to pay low standard and equipment deposits in comparison to the standard plan. While the standard plan carries deposit and equipment rates of Rs 3,750 and Rs 3,000 respectively, in the TSV plan customers just have to pay a standard deposit of Rs 2,000 and equipment deposit of Rs 1,000 only. By paying Rs 999 per month as rental, a customer gets Rs 1200 worth of calls free apart from getting other value-added services like CLIP, call waiting, call forwarding and others free of costs. While TATA Indicom's another plan Talk Unlimited attracts the same amounts for deposits, it offers unlimited free calls in a month at a monthly rental of Rs 2500 only. As per the Talk Plus plan customers get a part waiver of deposits and at a monthly commitment of Rs 400 customers get Rs 225 worth of calls free along with other value-added services as freebies.
