2/3 Americans think N.Korea bigger threat than Iraq now.

Well, gee, what a surprise. One openly says it is working on a nuclear program and throws inspectors out, while in the other, inspectors have find zilch yet. I wonder what the remaining 1/3 are thinking...

Also heard we may have to pay off Turkey 10 billion to use their bases

Of course. And all the lobbying power for entrance into EU (not that it will help, given the US' current popularity in EU) as well as Turkish army into northern Iraq when the invasion starts, and a promise to prevent the eventual formation of a Kurdish state.

well gee, I hope Exxon and Chevron give us the money back after their take the Iraqi oil-fields

Somehow I doubt that. Still, even if they do, I wonder what they will do about the American and Iraqi casualties.

See how Cheney is loyal to his company?

It is a small wonder to me that the American media has managed to divert attention from the fact that all of Bush's crew are oil guys. Of course they are after the oil. Oil companies paid good money to get them elected, and now they are going to get the return on their investment.
