zonder, I offer a thought. If one applies "any high standard" to ANY country, then it should follow that either: --any other country should have that same standard applied to it.. or --that other country isn't as worthy as the one with the "high standard" set for it. Therefore, in the UN, which seems to be an institution acceptable to many in the world, why would a country be allowed to join AND vote on ANYTHING....IF the same standard wasn't secured?
