David Re...While I totally agree with this statement, I think it also important that the toll in human suffering (from either side) is reduced when we fight on the enemy's territory. If our past couple wars are any guide, and I think they are, the civilian casulaties are greatly reduced when we're doing the bombing.

I think you are trying to say that , because we have guided bombs, we can reduce civilian casualties; not that only we have the moral right to bomb people into submission. Yes I will buy that, precision bombs kill far fewer civilian casualties to achieve military priorities.

Yes,. and OBL and the other Islamic terrorist know this. I don't think they think; or thought; GW would be able to pull off his pre emptive strategy. For the most part It has been a good strategy so far.
