Yes, 'age ratios... unbalanced' are a problem... but much more of one for the rest of the developed World than for the US.

Our SS problems are far more of our politician's making... by refusing to face up to the 'Ponzi scheme' structure that the program was designed with, for all these years.

And, of course, in recent decades, for using the SS cash inflows to disguise the unbalanced state of our national budget.

Why is it that no design engineer has ever figured out the obvious advantage of providing a flat surface on the top of a modern TV for a VCR or DVD?
