Agree with you there. It would mean dislocation of certain types of jobs here like software engineers but it would create other jobs in areas that will sell to the booming Chinese market. Considering the growth in China I wonder UTSI isn't up more.

<A booming china is good for the world economy> China is the economic engine of the world now. The German Chancellor was here these past few days -- you don't see Bush here the way the Europeans are. The Chancellor took a ride on the new magnetic levitation train from Shanghai to Pudong. Is there a train like that anywhere in the US?? The US is viewed here as powerful in military terms, but also losing influence in many aspects of Asia. The "war on terror" keeps us busy talking BS about Iraq etc. while an entire new global economy is taking shape.
