OT - BTW, Thanks for WDC

You're very welcome. The problem with WDC is when a fund liquidates its position - as I think was happening today, there is not a lot of liquidity. So it takes time - usually several days to digest all the shares. I guess someone was determined to finish selling his position today. And when buyers see all the shares being dumped, they just stop buying till they're sure the supply is gone. Hopefully that's behind us now. Though the sellers have learned to fake that, too.

I see your $12k investment in wdc has already outperformed your $80k risks in AMAT.

Good luck to all here. Even the shorts.

Sarmad

OT: From Briefing.com: WDC Western Digital debt upgraded by Moody's (6.53 +0.21) Moody's upgrades approx. $161 mln of co's debt securities to B3. The upgrade recognizes WDC's increasing share of the hard disk drive market, its deft execution during a period of industry consolidation, and its return to profitability in FY2002.
