Kerry proposes immediate tax relief for middleclass and also tax incentives for small businesses who hire new people. Since we cannot stand more budget busting deficit producers this will have to be paid for with the elimination of the Bush estate tax cuts for the very wealthy. That in itself is a huge budget-buster with no stimlus effect unless you believe in trickle down. But the very wealthy need not worry. The US still has the lowest taxes for the rich in the western world and plenty of loopholes like trust funds. But this is no time to keep making the rich richer. Even Bill Gates agrees.
