They really need to look inside themselves and find out why folks are running to fox news. Fox news is not the problem.. It is the democrat ticket and bs they blow out every day. They are the ones driving more to fox. Clinton calling republicans racists, Charlie R. bring back the draft. etc. Let's see if they can work with Republicans in congress and get some bills past quickly to get our economy on track and some health care improvements. It would also be nice to some bases closed instead of supporting keeping them open when they are not needed... And bring home more troops and close more unneeded bases in the World. Rumsfeld mentioned two weeks ago, his study on base closing will be world wide.. Let's hope he gets the support so he can use the savings to better equip and support our military personnel.

When I read this article, I really got a laugh. The Dems are talking about starting a Liberal Cable Network to compete with Fox. As I read this, I kept thinking, "You guys already have one, its called CNN!" Plus CBS, NBC, ABC, etc.

...and NPR, the BBC, PBS, The Washington Post, The LA Times, The Boston Globe, The Chicago Tribune and last but not least, the Gray Lady herself. How do these outlets stack up for eyeballs against Fox, the WSJ and the Washington Times? Larger by an order of magnitude I believe (most people still get their news from network TV).

It's a bad lookout for the Democrat Party if they really believe that their problems are due to lack of media outlets, instead of their lack of message.

Let's hope the liberals do plan a talk radio show or two, and have their own "fair and balanced news" like Fox does....Perhaps then we would stop hearing the carping about all those RW shows....

The right side of the "aisler's" don't have to be afraid of possible competition. There won't be any. However, the left will have their own competition.
