The difference is, and it's a huge difference, is that the USA has market and other mechanisms in place that assure the corruption is or can be corrected if desired. Most other countries are but a short step away from anarchy.

By the way, I have recently purchased some Nova Gold based on my belief in the greater fool theory as it appears the stock is about to go up a bit and there will be buyers.
