If you have royalty free IP but no pass through and manufacture chips like the MSM6200 but the purchaser of the chip then has to pay the royalty what have you gained?

Then the non-IP holding manufacturer is in the same boat as if they make the chip themselves, or buy it elsewhere. In other words, as long as someone else cannot offer them a chip with passthru rights, it is a non-event.

I've pursued the very information you are talking about, with little results. Since Q's agreements are confidential, I don't think we are going to have a neat spreadsheet anytime soon.
