yes it has been an awful experience for investors and tech workers. The sad thing is I think it was necessary. Of course I was too stupid to see it at the top as many were. And then I picked the bottom too early (I made a bunch in a long play post-911 and gave a lot back in the summer).

There has been too much consolidation in the tech mkt and these companies though, that is my feeling now. We are left with maybe one company to do the business where 20 were before in many areas some of which are in that gorilla growth phase like broadband and wireless.

it's a sad business there, isn't it, dma???

you know we really do need to get the impetus going for revision in the tax law for the $3000 capital loss limit to shake the nearly worthless shares out of hands..

more and more i'm convinced that is the only "medicine" that will work to reset the market to reasonable valuations.
