Saddam is crazy like a fox. Bottomline, he's a survivor. Provoking the US to attack by "crippling our economy" is not in his bag of tricks. It's utter BS and I'm surprised any of you even entertain the notion for a micro-second. Bush must've gaffed there. Otherwise makes no sense. He's going to make us the laughing-stock of the world. The economy is now the GOP's responsibility, blame or credit awarded accordingly. They're in charge, Saddam isn't.
