<LOL> Re: "They are taking action against NK, which you obviously missed."

>>> What action? How many carriers steaming that way?

Re: "They are quietly going to cut off all their resources and watch them die on the damn vine."

>>> That's pretty funny!

>>> 1) WE DON'T TRADE WITH THEM, SO WE'VE GOT NOTHING TO 'CUT OFF'. (Except for a little free oil, no big deal, they made all the money to replace that when they sold those ballistic missiles to Yemen... which we let through!)

>>> 2) 80% of their trade (little as it is) is with CHINA, and most of the rest with RUSSIA... and neither of them is cutting off anything.

>>> 3) NORTH KOREA HAS BEEN 'DYING ON THE VINE' FOR YEARS.

>>> Great 'strategy' you've got there: hide your head in the sand and let them build a nuclear strike force and then threaten the region, and sell nukes to the World (like al Qaeda).

>>> Great plan! Hiding and hoping for a better day! <G>

NK is no pipsqueak. Bush has no military options. Zero. Without setting off possible Armageddon in Korea. Bush has awoken a sleeping crazy tiger with the 5th largest army while we've got our troops surrounding the wrong enemy. He's trying to play it down now but it's a tremendous mistake he's made. The blundering reckless Axis Of Evil speech turned half the world against us and now he has to back up his talk with action. and he cannot except in Iraq which is an easy oil-rich target that pays for itself once taken. And pays off campaign contributors in the oil business. And gets revenge for daddy's blunders pulling out too early. Bush and his people have never been in the military and are rattling swords they don't even understand how to use. Reckless and now Bush will have to back down on NK. Embargos dont do anything to them. They can get what they need from China. And what chit does Bush have to trade with China to get them to blockade their NK ally? Get rid of SDI for good? Or pay then ten billion like we're ready to pay Turkey?
