Embargo against NK >>> Pretty much an empty threat without the participation of China... their main trading partner (and also Russia). Neither is interested. US trading with NK is already banned. >>> Of course we could grab the missile they export while on the high seas (like the SCUDS Bush just let through to Yemen)... or try to arrest the Pakistanis helping them with their nuclear programs, but these questionable actions are unlikely to prevent them from becoming a nuclear power... and possibly selling weapons or designs to other countries. >>> Only a military 'intervention'... or cutting a deal, can do that.
