I agree. Does the shift to big deficits by the Federal government make you wonder about the future direction of markets? I think Bush is counting on cheap oil post-Iraq along with cheap money and lower taxes to turn the economy -- do you buy that?

I should have added the impact of a current account deficit at 5% of GDP and the prospect of a slide in the dollar.
