so-called jews of today are the ones who are "mad". these anti-christ jews killed Jesus and have rejected Him ever since.
For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they of the Jews: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost. --1 Thessalonians 2:14-16
they are "mad" that they are no longer exclusively the chosen ones! they are mad that a new covenant has been made for ALL mankind -- jews, gentiles -- everyone!
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

so-called jews of today who deny Christ try to lie and deceive the masses into believing they are the "chosen ones" and therefore deserve special treatment. the bible clearly points out that these so-called jews are nothing but liars who are really not jews (inwardly) at all.
I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. --Revelation 2:9
