Yes the Iraq War timing was because of the elections. That is when I first got mad as hell at Bush. Back in July the public was focused on the economy and Enron type scandals. Bad news for Bush. So he changed the subject using the military. It was cheating and what he was telling the US public was not honest. So you lie and cheat to sway an election. SMart politics maybe but we deserve better. Especially after 2000 and the Enron-Bush scandals.
