Ted Re..Are you accusing me of being on the side of the NK? Answer the question, Fudd! Have you considered the possibility that Nk instigated the protesters, and you are backing it. The odds would be very high that Nk is behind some, if not all of the protests; with SK acquiescence. Frankly, I think the odds are very low that NK is behind the protests but what does it matter. You will think the opposite simply because if you didn't, you might have to rethink your opinion of Bush's foreign policy. Furthermore, the growing anti Americanism overseas is happening almost every where and not just in SK. It won't kill us but in coming years, it will hinder our efforts to rid the world of al Qaeda, or even to limit al Qaeda's power. There will be other ramifications as well......too long to list. Why, to force the US to cave into NK blackmail. KIm IL desperately needs that aid to keep his country afloat. SK can't negotiate with a leaderless country in chaos, which would torpedo Rohs sunshine and reunification policy. Besides, it would be the US, not them paying the bill. I think you're missing the point. The current leader like other recently elected leaders in other countries was elected because of his anti American stance. That is a growing movement. While that may well have happened in past times, I am not familiar with that kind of foreign reaction to American diplomacy. Its true we are a superpower; however, we still are dependent on the goodwill of other nations. We lose that goodwill, and our goals suffer. Its that plain and simple. ted
