Which is kinda odd to me because like Iraq, N.K. has plainly lied, broken its agreements and, unlike Iraq, admitted it is indeed working toward WMD. Iraq, while as much a liar as N.K., has several times expressed an interest in negotiating and will apparently not get the opportunity. N.K. does not seem to have expressed such wishes and yet it will get the opportunity.

The common line is that Iraq is more hostile than N.K. and so we must assault Iraq. But that certainly is not enough reason to allow a yet lying, cheating, hostile and starving N.K. to force us to 'negotiate... or else.'

It seems the genie is out of the bottle and no one has what it takes to put it back.
