this outsourcing of the "entire project team" is going to end badly in many cases... and this ignores all the IP issues.

There is a place for outsourcing, its ok with me but things have gone too far imo. Now I'm waiting for the snapback where all the foreign workers are gone and some business moves back onshore and nobody here to do it. Maybe next year.

So sooner or later, jobs available to Americans are real estate agents, managers or burger flippers?

I think H1-Bs are always needed as long as Americans want to maintain GDP/Capita of $35K. H1-Bs are reserved for talented workers. The only reason why a burger flipper can make $6.50 an hour is because his neighbors (whether native born or H1-B) makes $70K a year.
