He is a self made millionaire, and a trial lawyer

I can't think of anything that would better qualify someone for president. Being able to, for example, successfully sue McDonalds because someone spilled hot coffee in their lap.

Now, THOSE are qualifications! This is clearly the standard of measure for all future candidates: How many frivolous suits have you won?

I think it makes an interesting contrast:

On the very day Edwards, a trial lawyer makes his debut, you have Senator Frist, acting AGAINST the advice any trial lawyer would give, and rendering aid, saving lives on the side of a highway.

Imagine: Frist vs. Edwards in '08, in the debate:

Edwards: I was a trial lawyer, getting rich, looking out for the little guy.

Frist: I stopped on the side of the road, AGAINST the advice of my lawyer, to render aid and save lives.

Who are you going to vote for?
