Entombing our dead bodies in polished metal/aluminum containers/cans with gilded handles and rayon lining is a poor substitute for doing something more productive with our collective carcasses....

After cremation , just strewing the resulting potash w/minerals upon the ground surrounding any tree (redwoods are fairly magnificent ) which is such wonderful food for the tree , and then any member of the family
could make pilgrimage to that spot , look up and exclaim:

"Look ! There's grandma swinging and swaying up on the second branch on the left !"

You could spread the ashes of several family members when they pass on , over the ground of a young sapling and literally have created a living "family tree" sacred site . Good for the trees , and good for the air we breath
thus good for us .

(could put the aluminum to better use making telescopes and such !)

;-)
