Agreed, Jake. AS should really think (may just be too difficult) before he posts. A terrorist supporter IS a terrorist!

How is Saddam a terrorist a la AL Qaida? He's a far right-wing dictator who admires Hitler, hates Jews and loves ruthless power. His regime is secular and not connected with Islamic extremists. In fact he persecutes Islamic extremists in his country. Not to say he could never link up with terrorists or wont send checks to Palestinians to raise his popularity on the Arab streets, but as Senator Clinton asserted on Hardball, she has read all the intelligence and there is not a single piece of evidence linking Saddam to Al Qaida. So we're talking apples and oranges here. Ther is far more suport for terrorism coming from Saudi Arabia than Iraq. That's where we should be looking. That's where the pressure should be put. Saddam we all want out but he has no current connection to Al Qaida the war on terrorism. So it's very dishonest of Bush to suggest Saddam might attack the US and cripple our economy. It's a diversion, a deflection, a way to try and keep blame for the economy off his own administration and to find a fresh scapegoat now that Clinton and Bim Lauden have been used up.
