INTERVIEW-Fidelity's Tillinghast sees opportunity in tech

BOSTON, Jan 2 (Reuters) - Fidelity Investments' Joel Tillinghast, the man named best domestic-stock manager of 2002 by mutual fund research firm Morningstar Inc., said on Thursday he sees value in technology shares and has been putting cash to work.

Tillinghast, manager of the $15.1 billion Fidelity Low-Priced Stock Fund (Nasdaq:FLPSX - News), said in an interview with Reuters he has ramped up his technology holdings in recent months.

"I'm closer to being market-weighted in technology than I've been in a while," he said.
