CARACAS, Venezuela (Reuters) - Opponents of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Thursday added a tax revolt to a month-old strike choking oil exports, piling economic pressure on the leftist leader who condemned his opponents as fascists.

While former paratrooper Chavez insisted he would not give in to calls to quit and call early elections, strike leaders vowed no let up in 2003 in their economic war of attrition.
