Michael, first of all, I believe we will see a Blix visit to Iraq, at least as was reported five hours ago:

abc.net.au

Secondly, you're right. My idea does take the cake--might even stop a war!

Thirdly, the U.S. had nothing to do with the 9/11 tragedy itself. However, I do believe U.S. foreign policy has played a major role in stirring up the hatred which exists for America. And I do believe the Twin Tower tragedy would not have happened without some degree of hatred for America. So only to that extent, do I think the U.S. had any role to what happened.

Fourthly, I think the only way bin Ladin would have called it off would have been if he, himself, were standing on the tower tops. Would you? In this sense, I guess I'm asking Hans Blix to take a stand few in the world ever get to take, a true act for World Peace.
