yup, I agree 100%. Once you start sacrificing profits to capture future business, you have started the slippery slope to dotcom land. Cuz once you discount through your nose, you can never raise your prices again.

Can you imagine the difference in the competitive landscape for telecom services if the CLECs had priced their services to make money?

The local carriers all have regional monopolies again. my Internet access has gone from 39.99 to 57.99 a month in 7 months. I have no options other than to pursue a less reliable satellite option.
