That's just the problem.. You can dilute the dollar against gold and "so what" (since it's been at all time lows per ounce vs cost of production)..

But other nations will just devalue faster than the US can.. They need that disparity between currencies in order to make their goods more attractive here..

So few nations would agree to include their currencies in such a basket...
