BEIJING, Jan 3 Asia Pulse - China has become the largest platinum consumer in the world, with the annual consumption topping US$2 billion.
It imported 40 tons of platinum in 2001, accounting for 55 per cent of the world's total output.

Lets see: When those 1.2 billion people have a USD1400 income per capita, things start getting really interesting for countries rich in raw materials and food. Brazil has just pray they get rich quick!
