Interesting to re-visit the events unfolding during the Taliban takeover several years ago: metimes.com It begs the question that if ...say... Jamaica were overtaken by a gang of criminals and Haiti recognizes this mob as a "government", whilst the rest of the region (and world) disagrees, are the criminals "POWs" to be afforded that particular Geneva status or ... are they simply criminals?
