John, Given Schroeders behaviour we should announce partial withdrawls simultaneously. Folks have short memories but this is a human failing and unfortunately we americans suffer the same way. Wanna buy some of my sunw at $3??? I was thinking last night of JFK's description of his administration as "idealists without illusions". That was to differentiate themselves from the "realists" or machievellians but also the ideologues who would unilateraly disarm. Great idea, right? NOT! From this flowed Vietnam. It is really hard to get this stuff right. I think Bush blundered into the Korea mess--loose lips, especially since he is willing to be more conciliatory after the fact. But FP is a series of corrected blunders most times anyway. mike
