Need I point out that the 50's were HALF A CENTURY AGO???

To a 31 year old, it must seem long ago. To me, only yesterday. Ahh, to be 18 and in Europe again! The French, as a race, were arrogant asses then, and I have not read of any improvement in their attitude. In fact, they seem to have got worse.

My wife and I have decided that our vacations will no longer be places like France or the Western continent of Europe.

We will only vacation in places who deserve our vacation dollars!

On the one topic, where I think you may have something of value to add, I'd like to understand what fundemental weaknesses you see in the US economy that would allow the US currency to decline with respect to the EURO. It can't be unemployment, cost of governments social programs, so what are our terrible weaknesses which will make the EURO so much stronger than the USD. What factors are you looking at?

By the way, I am proud of my bias in the Israel/Assumed Palesinian issue. It defines me!

Should you comment, I did serve in the US Military for 5 years. What service did you give to Monaco?? Anywhere else??
